The first half of tonight's CNJ 442 class here at University of Miami was very informative as far as what the basics of online journalism consist of. To really understand what it takes to become an online journalist in this day and age you really need to enroll in a course such as this one. There are many aspects of online journalism that you will have to take into account before you truly understand what this field is about. Once you have familiarized yourself with the basics of the field than there are many other concepts that you will need to become proficient within online journalism.

It's great that you have mentioned that Online Journalism has components. Many people receive their news from this type of media, yet have no idea as to how it is composed. Learning all these components will hopefully lead to a greater appreciation of this media.

You're right on, Ryan. I think we'll be learning new stuff for the life of our career as long as we're opened to it.
